Jaeger-LeCoultre – Master Ultra Thin Date

Jaeger-LeCoultre - Master Ultra Thin Date

Throughout many years, Jaeger-LeCoultre as a manufacture has done an incredible expertise in developing and creating ultra-thin movements. New Master Ultra Thin Date for the 2015 is truly dedicated to this ‘slender’ theme of the movement.

To be honest it is really hard to create such watch with the minimalistic appearance, because little details build or spoil the whole creation. In this case, Jaeger-LeCoultre succeed with its Master Ultra Thin Date watch, which is well balanced in both aspects of the harmony and proportions. It offers beautiful round-shaped case unveiling the best in my opinion type of elegance – simple and discreet elegance. It doesn’t have to be gaudy and flashy to impress. It perfectly holds the codes of the Master Ultra Thin collection philosophy.

The extreme slenderness is possible thanks to the Calibre 899 movement, which presents an automatic winding. Everything is assembled in the 40mm case with the thickness of just 7.45mm. A stainless steel gives this slender watch a touch of modernity and visual lightness, but in fact this watch is really light and I hope comfortable in wearing. The elegant aspect of this timepiece is complemented by silvered dial, Dauphine hands, hour markers and dots between them in the matching colour. A date is displayed in the slick aperture at 6 o’clock. The full design of this watch is completed by the black alligator leather strap. This watch will cost about $8,100.
