Montblanc – Heritage Chronométrie ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph Vasco da Gama

Special, limited edition of the watch that is created as a tribute to the historic figure, namely to the Vasco da Gama. Montblanc faced a really demanding quest to combine the heritage of fine watchmaking with incredible precision.

But, Montblanc has coped of this quest and here we have the Heritage Chronométrie ExoTourbillon Minute Chronograph with new rigorously tested movement.

Maginifcently decorated and limited to just 60 pieces. A real work of art worth being created as the homage to the Vasco da Gama, who changed the path of the history. Clean, proportional dial with a brilliant pattern of the night sky studded with stars. The Montblanc diamond star shines at 12 o’clock and it is a really ornamental thing, nice to look at.

In terms of the design, this watch is incredible, but in terms of the movement’s complications this watch is more than incredible. The timepiece goes with the ExoTourbillon. It means that the balance wheel is outside the cage, so it is free of the cage inertness. The 44mm case is made of beautifully polished 18K white gold. It is a selfwinding Calibre MB R230 movement with a chronograph functions. At the center we can a see a disc coiled with the weaves, which is also a date indicator. Two semi-circular counters at 4 and 8 o’clock indicate the chronograph’s minutes and hours. The ExoTourbillon is boldly exposed at 6 o’clock on the silver background. A watch is limited to the symbolic 60 pieces. It refers to the 60-man crew of the Sao Gabriel. At the sapphire case back there is a unique drawing, which shows the Sao Gabriel and the signature of seafarer.
