Omega, Watch Talks

Omega Seamaster Bond collection + London Film Museum

This entry will be strictly associated with James Bond movie character. As I am in London, I decided to go to the London Film Museum, which is devoted to the all movies with James Bond.

I will show you some photos I took there, but the main thing I want to do is a review of the Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 600m and Diver 300m. I really sorry for poor quality of the photos, but there were rigorous “no flash” ban.

James Bond Museum

Omega Planet Ocean 600m
In addition to the ceramic bezel in black, the watch is made of brushed and polished stainless steel. The watch rises to life all of the functions by the Omega 8500 mechanism hidden in 42mm case.As every watch in this series is ready for underwater adventure, because of its water resistance to 600m. Pointers and indexes are coated with Super-LumiNova, so we can read the time even in the darkness. Front of the watch is protected by sapphire glass. Black matt dial hides a small date window at 3 o’clock. The watch also has helium escape valve.

Omega Seamaster Diver 300m
This watch is a great tribute to the brand’s marine legacy. Omega Diver 300m has blue ceramic bezel mountd on 41 mm steel case and blue dial with date window at 3 o’clock. Bracelet and case is made of stainless steel. This watch has also helium escape valve. Omega Diver 300m is powered by Co-axial Calibre 2500 mechanism. As the name of the watch says it’s 300m waterproof. Front of the watch is secured by sapphire glass.

Now, some photos taken there.
