Audemars Piguet, Watch Reviews

Audemars Piguet – Royal Oak Offshore Diver

After the successful launch of the Royal Oak Offshore Diver Chronograph, Audemars Piguet introduces non-chronograph version for the 2017.

Despite I have never liked Royal Oak Offshore Diver range from Audemars Piguet – it always looked like a dull piece of metal. However, I must admit that this trend has changed in 2014, when I came across the non-chronograph Royal Oak Offshore Diver in white ceramic. This watch was ridiculously cool at that time. It showed me the good side of the Audemars Piguet diver’s range. This year’s SIHH releases by Audemars Piguet are featured with bright and vibrant colours of both dials and rubber straps.

Right now, I am fully satisfied with what I see. Non-chronograph, funky colours and the thing I like the most about Royal Oak Offshore Diver – ‘Mega Tapisserie’ dial. Everything is legibly presented due to contrasting hues, which corresponds with main design colours.

In this case, we get 5 versions in different colours.

They all feature the same massive stainless steel case with a diameter of 42mm. The front and the caseback are equipped with the glare-proof sapphire crystal. They are also water resistant to 300 meters.
