OMEGA has introduced the new Seamaster watch dedicated to the Emirates Team New Zealand – the renowned sailing team.
The timepiece commemorates the partnership between this team and OMEGA watchmaking brand.

“OMEGA is proud of the partnership with Emirates Team New Zealand that started with Sir Peter Blake’s American’s Cup campaign in 1995. The team handily won the Cup, a feat it would repeat in 2000. When Sir Peter retired from professional sailing after that campaign, OMEGA continued to support him as one of the main sponsors of his Blakexpeditions project until his untimely death in 2001. Since then, OMEGA has continued its support for ETNZ and the brand looks forward to cheering it on in its next challenge for the America’s Cup in 2017 and the preceding races in the America’s Cup World Series.”

The sporty Seamaster watch perfectly matches to the sailing theme with its deep marine roots. Great, modern design, which incorporates the high-tech titanium and ceramics together to be extra sturdy and light at the same time. The 5-grade titanium case with a diameter of 44mm presents the slightly shaped lines. The black ceramic bezel comes with a glossy-finished diving scale. The hour markers, hands and dot at the top of bezel (12 o’clock) are coated with the white Super-LumiNova, which emits a green light, in result providing the legible time reading in a low-light conditions.

The new Seamaster Diver 300M ETNZ watch is offered with the matching two-sided rubber strap, which is black, lined-finished at the top side and red at the bottom.

At the titanium case back securing movement we can find the Emirate Team New Zealand logo engraving, which shows the support to the renowned team and the whole sailing theme by the OMEGA. The case back protects Co-Axial calibre 3330 chronograph movement with the Si14 silicon balance spring.

The sand-blasted titanium dial features the chronograph complications presented in the three sub-dials, namely the 30-minunte counter at 3 o’clock, 12-hour indicator with a date display in the aperture at 6 o’clock and small seconds at 9 o’clock. Moreover, there are hours, minutes and central seconds indication.
