Piaget – Emperador cushion-shaped

Piaget - Emperador cushion-shaped WATCH
Elegance combined with the complications that are bold and innovative? We can all find it in the Emperador cushion-shaped watch.

Its cushion-shaped case shows us that it’s a remarkable watch, but it isn’t the only reason why this watch is so uncommon. In the 46,5 mm case is hidden the Piaget 1270P caliber which is first ultra-thin automatic tourbillon movement with the astonishing thickness of 5,5 mm. This movement is extracting the inspiration from 600P caliber and 1208P caliber. That’s how this innovative and aesthetic movement has born. Piaget links the progression of the technology with the marks of the history of the fine watchmaking.

Let’s proceed to its features. The movement that I mentioned earlier brings to life functions like :
hours at 5 o’clock, minutes, seconds and the power reserve indicator. The power reserve is approximately 42h. We can also find a flying tourbillon at 1 o’clock and off-centered micro rotor in gold. The dial is in a chocolate hue which harmonizes pretty well with the brown alligator strap, case and the remaining parts in rose gold, making this watch really sophisticated. Piaget not only keeps the great look of the watch appearance, it also takes care of the movement appearance. We can find many decorative and artistic patterns like : guilloche on the mainplate, sunburst motif at the hours and minutes, Circular Cotes de Geneve starting at the center of the tourbillon and Circular-grained. Piaget tunes-up every single part of the watch making their products masterpieces.
