Today I’m paying a tribute to this beautiful Rolex Submariner Date 116610LV, well-known as ‘Hulk’.

Rolex watches are not special – I mean not at all. They are mass-produced, sought-after and worn by many. As for me, I find most of them really boring. That’s why it is so hard to find that one modern Rolex timepiece, which would make you feel special about owning it.

Submariner 116610LV ‘Hulk’ seems to be the only watch, which would be my weapon of choice, when it comes to modern, ceramic Rolex watches. It is not dull like its black ceramic brothers – 116610LN and 114060. 116610LV ‘Hulk’ was released in Baselworld 2010 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Rolex Submariner. Typically, Rolex kept Submariners black and blue (when we talk about two-tone and solid gold versions). Reference with ‘LV’ changed it all. From being dull and common to being playful and ‘special’. Watch collectors like to call reference 116610LV the ‘Hulk’, because of its green vibrant dial and ceramic bezel insert.

Rolex watches are bulletproof, extremely trustworthy and great investment. Though, its mass-produced background can cause boredom after a while, because there are so many of them out there. Vibrant colour are here to rescue you!
