Vacheron Constantin has revealed the newest collection called Harmony. It mostly consists of the chronograph watches with a prestigious design. This time I’m reviewing the Ultra-Thin Grande Complication Chronograph watch.
It’s an incredible work of art in many ways. The sophisticated and innovative case construction features a harmonious lines and light reflections. This timepiece is an undoubted highlight of the revealed collection. The eye-catching shapely and proportional lines of the case, which is made of precious 950 platinum. It is a great crowning achievement of the Harmony collection, which gained an inspiration from the one of the first chronograph wristwatches, introduced by Vacheron Constantin in late ’20.
The next incredible fact is, that this watch is actually the world’s thinnest monopusher chronograph watch. Everything is due to the masterpiece Caliber 3500 mechanical self-winding movement developed and crafted by Vacheron Constantin. Its thickness of 5.20 mm testifies about the greatest watchmaking artistry.
The mentioned earlier movement consists of the fine 459 parts. The whole movement is a masterpiece in itself. Decorative patterns of a movement elements adding the majesty. The 51 hours of a power reserve are supported by the gold peripheral oscillating weight, which moves around the circuit of the movement.
The silvered opaline dial is readable with ease. Large, blue numerals integrates very well with blue leather strap provided. The chronograph features a sophisticated complications like second and minute counter in sub-dials at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. At 6 o’clock we can see the semi-circular power reserve indicator. The entirety is complemented by the Tachymeter scale encircling a dial.
Harmony Ultra-Thin Chronograph watch is limited to the 10 pieces signed separately. Harmony collection is a beautiful commemoration of this superior brand with traditions.
