A new horological machine by MB&F created for the special occasion, namely for 10th anniversary. As every timepiece from this brand, the HMX is unique in its design and features.

The creating of such uncommonly shaped case was really demanding challenge the MB&F has faced. But, the anniversary watch had to be spectacular and perfect in its form, every single detail is important part of the whole timepiece. Concerning the materials that have been selected for the HMX case, we get the great combination of the stainless steel and grade 5 titanium to provide the well balanced and optimal weight that in result bring the comfort for the wearer.

The colours of these HMX versions are not random ones. They are inspired by the characteristic motor racing colours.

“Lotus black, for one of the most successful teams in the history of motor racing; British racing green, which should originally have been red, white and blue, but those colours were already taken by the USA; Bugatti blue, apparently inspired by the colour on Mrs. Bugatti’s Gauloise cigarette packets; and Ferrari red, which is the Italian official.”

So, we can say that the new HMX anniversary watch is the supercar for the wrist. Sophisticated engineering, outstanding design inspired by the supercars and the unusual way of presenting the time. The sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating protects the in-house engine of this horological machine and covers the front, top and the case back, which through we can see the 22K gold winding rotor.

 

The MB&F has used a basis Swiss Sellita automatic movement with the disc system added, so it can bring to life all functions of this HMX watch. The whole mechanism is enclosed in the stainless steel and 5 grade titanium case with dimensions of 46.8 x 44.3 x 20.7 mm. It features the 42 hours of power reserve and it operates at 28,800 bph (4 Hz). The functions are clearly visible through the sapphire crystal prisms with magnifying lens, not at the top of the watch, but on the side. It provides the better view, because you don’t need to twist your hand to see what time is. The jumping hours are situated on the left side and the trailing minutes on the right side. At the case back we can see the interesting motto partly describing the MB&F’s philosophy – “A Creative Adult is a Child who Survived”

Each of the HMX watch version will be limited to 20 pieces, so it gives just 80 pieces in total. We will be able to choose between 4 colours of the leather racing strap and the engine – blue, green, black and red.
